Board Briefs – February

Continuing Education Providers Approved

The NCLBGC (the Board) has approved the initial group of providers who are now eligible to schedule and advertise dates to offer continuing education courses. Courses cannot be advertised until the curriculum has been approved by the Board. The Board will not schedule, or post schedules of courses being offered by approved providers. Please visit the list of approved providers and click on the provider of your choice to open their website for course schedules or contact the provider for additional information.

Train the Trainer Sessions Being Scheduled

The Board is currently confirming dates for March and April to host the 2-Hour Mandatory CE Course training sessions for approved instructors. Once dates are confirmed, all approved providers and instructors will be contacted to initiate registrations for scheduled classes. Locations and times for training sessions will be posted on the Board website when confirmed. For more information contact the Board Education Department by email at

Course Applications & Guidelines Now Available

All prospective providers, instructors, and elective course developers may now visit to see the application process, course development guidelines, and access the course approval application form and attachments. The provider must be approved before elective course curriculums can be submitted.
